All we know for sure is that we have this moment. We cannot know what’s ahead of us but we can live in the present and take care of ourselves. We try to focus on gratitude, being our most authentic selves, quieting the noise, and sometimes we simply focus on taking a breath. |

We are over halfway through 2021 and over a year into the pandemic that has changed all our lives immensely. |

Making ourselves happy for us means focusing on writing music and being in a purely creative mode. It’s hard to not be distracted by life, friends, family, work… but focusing on what is important to us is what is meaningful to us. Today we hope you take some time to do something that truly makes you happy. |

What would you recommend doing if someone came to visit your home town? My hometown has many historical sites with fascinating history. With the Arizona White Mountains and its lakes to the south and the Painted Desert to the north, there's lots to explore. But the one place I send people to the most is Silver Creek Canyon. With miles and miles of hiking, bouldering, rope climbing, and repelling, it has a lot to offer. However, it's not for everyone but it is my favorite place in the world. |

Tell us about the MARS song you most deeply connect with and why. As much as I love all of Mars songs, Northern Lights reminds me of a shared astral projection experience I once had. A memory I will never forget. |

Can you tell us about the best MARS concert you went to? So hard to decide which one is the best. I've had the pleasure of seeing Mars live three times, and each time had its own special moment. The first show I was backstage at KFMA day in Tucson, AZ 2010. The second show I was with my daughters at Marquette Theater in Tempe, AZ 2010. And the last was a complete surprise. My friend got me a ticket for the last Camp Mars show 2019. That was such an incredible experience. I absolutely loved howling at the moon with our incredible Mars family. Although I was there alone, I felt like I knew so many of the you there and that was a wonderful feeling. |
