Thank you to everyone who spent time giving us feedback on the Transmission. This is a labor of love for our team. We restarted the Transmission during lockdown as a way to stay connected and keep MARS in your inbox even when we haven’t been able to play shows. It has become more than we imagined. |

As we pore through your feedback, we have started making plans to implement changes. Over the next few months you will see new features, announcements and an evolution of the Transmission. |

Where's your hometown and what would you recommend doing if someone came to visit? I live in the south of England. I’d recommend going to Brighton and walking round the shops in the lanes (there’s an amazing shoe shop called Irregular Choice that I adore!!!). The pier with the fairground rides and slot machines, the beach and feeling at peace on the pebbles!!! |

Can you tell us about the best MARS concert you went to? I went to Mars Island. I was going through a tough time and not feeling great about myself. That whole weekend changed my life. The concerts in the evening were magical, the place, the people, the whole experience. I can’t explain just how much it changed my life and the way I treat myself!!! |

Tell us about the MARS song you most deeply connect with and why. Alibi. I have a tattoo of the words “I fell apart, but got back up again.” I’ve had a lot of “big” life experiences to deal with including incurable breast cancer. These words and that song remind me that no matter what things will be ok. |

Is there a business you love that is making a difference or a non-profit organization you want others to know about? CoppaFeel! They are educating people on checking their boobs, from school age young people. It’s so important to understand that cancer can affect anyone and isn’t age discriminatory!!! I had my primary breast cancer in 2016. I only checked my boobs when my best friend was diagnosed the year before. I was honestly clueless. It’s so important for people to understand their bodies, check their bodies and get anything that isn’t normal for them checked out. If I wasn’t so body aware I wouldn’t have got my secondary diagnosis so early on. |
